This is more than a business blog — it’s a look behind the scenes of Creative Dynamics, where lived experience and strategy come together to support the way real entrepreneurs work and live.

Welcome to the Creative Dynamics Virtual Services blog — more than business tips, this is a behind-the-scenes look at how lived experience and strategy come together to support real entrepreneurs.

Neurodivergent business owners deserve models that reflect their values, honour their energy, and support their whole lives—not just the bottom line.

I’m Brittney Ashley, a proud Métis woman, mom of two little humans, certified business coach, imposter syndrome coach, Trauma of Money Practitioner, and lead strategist at Creative Dynamics Virtual Services. I hold a BBA in Marketing and Communications and bring over six years of experience supporting founders across industries, including tech. I help entrepreneurs build sustainable, values-aligned companies that work for their brains, their lives, and their dreams.

Why Creative Dynamics Virtual Services Was Born

Creative Dynamics grew out of necessity. After years in a toxic environment where I was undervalued and emotionally drained, I knew there had to be a better way.

What began as support for moms working from home has grown into a thriving collective focused on community, collaboration, and care. We support business owners—especially moms, neurodivergent leaders, Indigenous entrepreneurs, and folks from historically excluded communities—by creating safe, dignified, and inclusive workspaces.

We advocate for:

  • Safe, healthy virtual workplaces
  • Pay transparency and equity
  • Supportive systems for neurodivergent professionals and caregivers
  • Community-centred leadership and Indigenous entrepreneurship

Creative Dynamics isn’t just a business—it’s a movement.

The Reality of Building a Business with Neurodivergence

Most traditional business advice assumes a neat office, a 9–5 schedule, and a neurotypical brain. But for many neurodivergent entrepreneurs, this is far from reality.

If you’re like me, your workday doesn’t fit into tidy boxes. You’re balancing caregiving, medical appointments, unexpected energy spikes, and creative bursts at odd hours. You might hyperfocus deeply on some tasks while completely losing track of others, like invoicing or follow-ups. You may struggle with executive functioning challenges, making planning and prioritizing feel like a constant battle.

On top of this, there’s the emotional weight: feeling like you’re “not enough” or falling behind in a culture that celebrates nonstop hustle. Rest can feel like guilt, and overwhelm becomes a constant companion.

This isn’t a sign of failure. It’s the reality for many neurodivergent founders trying to navigate systems built for someone else.

What we need isn’t more pressure or “quick fixes.” We need business models and support systems designed with flexibility, compassion, and respect for how our brains actually work.

Why Systems Matter

Without the right systems, running a business with ADHD, dyslexia, or other neurodivergences can quickly become overwhelming.

Flexible, trauma-informed systems help you:

  • Honour your energy rhythms without burnout
  • Keep important tasks visible without overloading your brain
  • Create flow instead of friction, turning chaos into clarity
  • Build capacity through smart delegation and adaptable structures

The right support moves you from merely surviving to thriving.

Systems That Support You

Here are three core lessons I teach:

  • Rest is productive: It’s part of the process, not a reward.
  • Structure should flex: Rigid systems break; flow builds resilience.
  • Delegation is sustainability: Smart support turns survival into success.

Rooted in Métis Values, Powered by Strategy

As a Métis woman, I lead with kinship, adaptability, and community resilience. I draw on my heritage and coaching training to help founders move from survival mode to strategic alignment.

Together, we reimagine business as collaborative, empowered, and deeply human.

Visionary Leadership: Embracing Neurodivergence as Strength

Living with ADHD and dyslexia, I’ve learned to see these not as limitations but as unique leadership superpowers.

Like a true veterinary who cares holistically for an animal’s health, I approach business with deep compassion and insight. My ADHD fuels hyperfocus and pattern recognition, helping me diagnose issues others might miss. Dyslexia sharpens my visual and big-picture thinking, allowing me to conceptualize creative, flexible strategies that fit real life.

I’m passionate about pulling out and amplifying the vision of others — listening deeply, translating ideas into clear, actionable plans, and creating supportive spaces where strengths shine. I bridge gaps between people, ideas, and resources to build cohesive, thriving teams.

My leadership is grounded in care, community, and inclusivity — helping neurodivergent and diverse founders build sustainable businesses that honor their brains and lives. Trauma-informed coaching and smart systems reduce overwhelm and unlock potential.

What Makes Creative Dynamics Stand Out

We’re not your average agency. We’re a coach-led, full-stack Canadian team offering Virtual Assistant (VA) support, Fractional Operations, and Online Business Management (OBM), all through a trauma-informed, people-first lens.

We:

  • Provide layered team support. Your VA is backed by a network of specialists in admin, tech, design, strategy, and communications.
  • Design neurodivergent- and trauma-informed systems that flex with your energy and life rhythms.
  • Work remotely across Canada, the U.S., and the U.K., giving clients location-flexible support that meets them where they are.
  • Support purpose-driven business owners scaling with care, not burnout.

Mentorship and Culture

Our leadership sets us apart. As a certified coach, I support clients through mindset blocks, overwhelm, financial healing, and imposter syndrome.

Our team benefits from ongoing mentorship, so you get partners who grow, learn, and lead beside you.

Proven Experience

We’ve been in this space for over six years. Long before remote work became a necessity and before the virtual support industry expanded rapidly, we were already deep in the work.

Creative Dynamics was founded after we saw persistent gaps in how business owners—especially women, moms, and neurodivergent entrepreneurs—were supported. The systems were rigid. The expectations were unrealistic. The human element was missing.

So we built something better: a flexible, trauma-informed, team-based model that centres care, capacity, and sustainable growth.

While others are entering the space now, we’ve been building it all along.
